Description
Appearance of the plant:
- The Dypsis Luitescens, commonly known as the Areca Palm, has a lush appearance with long, slender leaves that arch beautifully. The leaves are bright green and can have a delicate, feathery structure. This palm may also produce small, inconspicuous flowers, but these are usually not prominently visible in the pot.
Placement:
- This plant thrives best in a bright location with indirect sunlight. It can be placed indoors near a window but can also be outside in a shaded environment. Avoid direct sunlight, especially during the hottest parts of the day.
Watering needs:
- The Dypsis Luitescens has a moderate watering requirement. Water the plant when the top layer of potting soil feels dry. Ensure the pot has good drainage to prevent root rot. In winter, the watering needs may decrease, so watering less frequently is often sufficient.
Shipping:
- We pack your products in a sturdy box specially designed for (indoor) plants. The plants and soil are protected by a cover, and the houseplants are secured in the box. This way, your plant will arrive fresh, healthy, and undamaged.
